PhoneVault is a shop-management app and verified dealer network for phone and gadget dealers in Nigeria. Dealers use it to keep stock, record sales, give receipts, track repairs and consignments, and find stock in their market. It also lets anyone check a phone’s IMEI to see if it has been reported stolen or lost.

Phone, laptop and gadget dealers, phone repairers, and the people who buy from them. Dealers and repairers run their shop on it; buyers use the free IMEI check before paying for a phone.

Dial *#06# to get the phone’s IMEI and type it into phonevault.pro/verify. If the phone has been reported stolen or lost on PhoneVault, the result says “Reported”. It is free and needs no account.

Go to phonevault.pro/report with the phone’s IMEI. The report is reviewed, and once approved every dealer or buyer who checks that IMEI sees it is reported. Report it to the police and your network provider too.

Tap Sign up on phonevault.pro, fill in your shop’s details and submit. Each application is reviewed, and you can sign in once your shop is approved.

Dealers are currently using PhoneVault on a free trial. Checking an IMEI and reporting a stolen phone are free for everyone.

Yes. PhoneVault installs from the browser: open phonevault.pro, sign in and choose “Install app” on Android, or “Add to Home Screen” in Safari on iPhone. It then opens like any other app. It also works in a browser on a laptop.

PhoneVault started in Benin City, Edo State, and is open to phone and gadget dealers anywhere in Nigeria. Network search shows a dealer the shops in their own market.

Other shops in your market can see the items you list and the prices you put on them, unless you mark an item private. Your customers, your cost prices and your profits are never visible to another shop.

Yes. It handles phones, laptops, game consoles, accessories and parts, and it has full repair tracking for repairers.

No. It checks reports made on PhoneVault by phone owners and dealers, each reviewed before it counts. A clean result means nobody has reported that phone on PhoneVault.
