Repair tracking for phone repairers

A ticket and a barcode tag for every device on your bench, through to collection.

How do phone repair shops keep track of customers’ devices?

PhoneVault gives each repair its own ticket and a printable tag with a barcode for the device. The ticket holds the customer, the fault, the parts used, the labour and what has been paid, so nothing is mixed up on the bench and collection takes seconds.

What you get

  • A ticket for every job: customer, device, fault, price and status.
  • Print a small barcode tag to stick on the device, and scan it to pull up the job.
  • Parts taken from your stock come off the shelf automatically.
  • Labour and parts are kept apart, so you see what a repair really earned.
  • Record part payments and the balance at collection, with a repair receipt.
  • Take in repairs for other dealers and keep their account separate.
  • Send your own stock out to a repairer and track it until it is back.

How it works

  1. Book the device in and print its tag.

  2. Add parts and labour as the work is done.

  3. Scan the tag at collection, take the balance, hand over the receipt.

Quick answers

Do I need a label printer?

No. The tag is a PDF you can share to any printer app or print later. A small 58mm sticker printer makes it quicker if you have one.

Can I use it if I only do repairs and do not sell phones?

Yes. Repairs work on their own; you can ignore the sales side.
