Staff accounts, permissions and commissions
Each staff member has their own login, and you decide what they can see.
How can a shop owner control what staff can do and see?
In PhoneVault each staff member signs in with their own phone number, and the owner switches on only what that person should do — sell, edit stock, see cost prices, handle suppliers. Every sale and change is recorded against the person who made it, and the owner is alerted to discounts and corrections.
What you get
- Each person signs in with their own number — no shared password.
- Permissions per person: who can sell, edit stock, see cost prices or see supplier contacts.
- Every sale is recorded against the staff member who made it.
- Commissions are calculated from each person’s sales.
- The owner is told when staff sell below the price, or correct a sale.
- Staff can be placed in one branch and see only that shop.

Quick answers
Can I stop staff from seeing how much I paid for stock?
Yes. Cost price is a separate permission, and it is off unless you turn it on.
What happens when a staff member leaves?
You switch their account off. Their past sales stay in your records under their name.
